Calendar of Events
Every year the Humane Society continues to expand our education and outreach in the community. Our Board members, staff, and volunteers to go the extra mile for the animals. With several successful fundraisers already completed we look forward to future events.
We strive to raise awareness about pet overpopulation, educate the public about responsible pet ownership, be a resource for the public, and—of course–find loving forever homes for the animals in our care. The shelter is doing this by participating in adopt-a-thons, visiting local schools, conducting interviews on both radio and television, and inviting groups to the shelter for educational sessions and tours.
