Youth Group Activities
Current Youth Services Projects
- Photographing H.S.C.W. Pets and Writing Pet Descriptions - Students who are interested in photography can put their skills to use capturing photos of our pets to be uploaded on our website. In addition, students who enjoy writing can write pet descriptions - sharing information on our pets in an effort to help get them adopted.
- Pet Groomers - Students would bathe, brush and otherwise get pets ready to have their photos taken for the internet. This is also a great opportunity for the animals to get out of their kennels, get some exercise, and some socialization - helping to ease the stress of a shelter animal.
- Kennel Assistants - Students assist with the daily chores and opening tasks; this may include washing kennels, sweeping/mopping floors, washing dishes and doing laundry.
- H.S.C.W. Youth Group - Youth will work with adult advisors to create and implement ideas for fundraising, education, and other events to help benefit the shelter and our community.
