Robert is a 4-year-old male Labrador/Pit mix.
Robert was very chill during his photo shoot. He was loving with his handler and is expected to bond quickly with his adopter. Robert doesn't look it, but his is a big boy. He currently weights in at just over 80 pounds. It doesn't seem like Robert knows how large he is. He would benefit from a home that can help build his self confidence. Robert likes to keep a clean kennel and needs a home with a fenced in yard that he can have his potty breaks in. This pet is available for adoption and is located at the Yakima Humane Society. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 24-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
