Meet Digit, a 5-year-old male German Shepherd.
Digit got his name because he had to have a digit removed due to injury. Not that clever of a name but we like it. Digit spent some time at the YHS clinic for his recovery. The staff there said that "Digit is a super easy walker and does great with other dogs. He has been friendly with cats at clinic. He is kennel trained and loves hot dogs." I mean who doesn't love hot dogs! This guy could be your new best friend! If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
