Meet Chaze, a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Chaze was picked up by animal control in the lower valley. He seems to be used to doing his own thing, but at the same is also very big on affection when he feels its the time. Chazes' past is unknown but he does have a long scar down his back that indicates it hasn't been all rainbows and butterflies. Chaze has been in a foster with an employee and he is doing amazing. He is working on his leash manners when going on walks, but overall does pretty well on the leash. He seems to be potty trained as long he is taken out on time, and seems to prefer men over women but loves the attentions and love from everyone! Chaze is a little too interested in cats and would probably do best in a home without one. He has met a small dog while in foster and did well but was very excited when meeting a large dog, so a meet and greet is recommended with any other animals in the household prior to adoption. He is also the perfect gentleman when going out. He went with his foster to go get her hair done and hung out in the salon with everyone. We would love a home where he can lay around and do his own thing but also have a nice fenced in yard where he can safely be himself and time to bond and hangout with you! This pet is available for adoption on 9/29/23 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
