Meet Scout, a 6-year-old male Bull Terrier who weighs around 60 pounds.
Scout was found roaming around and brought in to us. We tried to contact his owner but were unable to get ahold of them. Scout is an outgoing boy with a goober of a personality. He loves to get time out in the yard and thinks rolling in the grass is one the the best things. Scout is already neutered and his adopters should be ready for a thick boi. This dude is very treat motivated so watch your fingers, we are working on patience with him but those treats smell so yummy! Scout knows the commands "sit" and "down" and does them as fast as possible if there is food involved. Please do your breed research prior to applying to adopt Scout.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
