Meet Catherine, a 2-year-old female Domestic Medium Hair mix.
Catherine and her babies were surrendered to the adoption center because they had too many animals. She is described as super sweet and very lovey. Catherine has a friendly and affectionate personality. She tends to be quiet a a little independent at times but loves treats and is a nice girl. Catherine is litter box trained but was allowed to come and go outdoors. Catherine is reported to get some crust in her eyes at times which has also been seen by the shelter staff. She has no issue with you cleaning them and actually seems to like the attention. Catherine doesn't seem to have been socialized a great deal and while she likes pets she also does hide some and might enjoy a home that is a little calmer. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
