Meet Frost, a 2.5-month-old female Domestic Shorthair.
Frost and her sibling arrived at the adoption center as part of the My Last Litter program. Since they were too small for adopting they went into an amazing foster home. Now Frost and her sister are socialized and ready for adoption. These girls love to play and are used to being around loads of other animals. If you are ready for a friendly feline Frost says "Pick Me!"
Please remember that Frost is a kitten and kitten behavior comes with the package. They need lots of toys and places to scratch to learn good scratching habits. They also need patience as they finesse their litter box skills in a new home they are unfamiliar with.
If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 24-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
