Meet RuPaul, a 3.5-year-old male Domestic Shorthair.
That's right, RuPaul is a a male which is extremely rare with his calico coloring. He was initially brought in as a stray several years ago but has been our Spay & Neuter Clinic Cat since. Due to the fast-pace environment of the clinic, RuPaul took a long time to come out of his shell but has since discovered how much he actually loves affection. Because of this, we believe that RuPaul would do better in a calm, quiet environment where he will receive all of the love and attention he deserves. RuPaul loves to lie down for snuggles and also has a playful side showing appreciation for toys, scratch posts, and especially chasing "the red dot". He has done great with other cats and wouldn't mind a companion, otherwise he would do great as an only-cat as well. Please be patient with RuPaul as he has only known the "clinic life" and will need time to adjust to his new home and surroundings. He is a little nervous at first, but once he finds his person they are his entire world. This pet is available for adoption and is located at the Yakima Humane Society Spay & Neuter Clinic. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
