Meet Sprout, a 3-month-old male Domestic Shorthair.
Calling all action lovers! Who wants to just laze around all day? Not this guy! Sprout loves to be on the move, and is full of energy. He is always ready to play and thinks that the world was made for him to explore. Sprout is going to be a super fun companion and would love a home that wants an interactive pet. Please remember that Sprout is a kitten and kitten behavior comes with the package. They need lots of toys and places to scratch to learn good scratching habits. Sprout can get a little mouthy while playing but is redirected easily with toys. They also need patience as they finesse their litter box skills in a new home they are unfamiliar with. This pet is currently offsite in foster care but is available for adoption through the Yakima Humane Society. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday, however an approved application is required to schedule a meet for Sprout since he is offsite in foster care. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
