Meet Cecelia, a 2-year old Domestic Shorthair cat.

Cecelia was rescued from a heartbreaking situation-found with nine other cats, locked in kennels under a tarp in extreme heat. The kennels were soaked with urine and feces, and many cats suffered from sores and maggots. Cecelia herself endured lesions, urine scald, fly strike, and was matted with feces.

Despite everything, Cecelia's spirit is bright and full of love. She's friendly, outgoing, and eager to shower her new family with all the snuggles and affection she can give. She thrives on attention and wants nothing more than to be your loving companion.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
