Teton is a striking adult long-haired black cat with a majestic coat and a mysterious soul to match. He's not the happiest guy in the shelter environment - and honestly, we don't blame him. The hustle and bustle just isn't his style.

Teton is the kind of cat who will need a patient, understanding adopter willing to give him the time and space he deserves. He may not be the "in-your-face affectionate" type right away, but we truly believe that in a calm home with someone committed to working with him, he has the potential to blossom.

He's looking for a quiet household where he can settle in at his own pace and build trust on his terms. With consistency, kindness, and a little patience, Teton could become a loyal companion who bonds deeply with his person.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
