Meet Janice, a one-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat.

Janice came to us alongside her friend Jena, and while everything feels a little big and overwhelming right now, her gentle spirit is already shining through. She's a very shy girl who prefers to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings-but underneath that timid exterior is a truly sweet soul.

Janice will do best starting out in a smaller, quiet room where she can feel safe and settle in at her own pace. With soft voices, slow movements, and plenty of patience, she'll begin to realize she's home. Once she starts to open up, you'll see just how tender and loving she really is.

She's looking for a calm, understanding family who can give her the quiet love and reassurance she needs to build confidence. If you have a peaceful home and a gentle heart, Janice would love the chance to blossom with you.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
