Meet Sunny, a two-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat.

Sunny is a beautiful orange girl with a soft, warm presence and a heart that's still learning to feel safe. She came to us as a stray, so much of her past is a mystery, but it's clear she hasn't had the easiest journey.

Right now, Sunny is a bit nervous and unsure in new environments. She tends to take things slowly, watching the world from a safe distance while she builds confidence. With a little time and patience, you can see glimpses of the sweet cat she's meant to be.

Sunny would thrive in a quieter home where she can settle in at her own pace and receive plenty of gentle TLC. A calm environment and a kind, understanding adopter will help her feel secure and allow her personality to blossom.

If you have a soft spot for shy kitties and the patience to help them come out of their shell, Sunny could become a truly special companion. Sometimes the quietest souls shine the brightest once they feel at home.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
