Meet Salvador, a seven-year-old cat weighing 12 pounds.

Salvador is a friendly, confident cat with a personality all his own. He knows exactly how he likes his affection and isn't afraid to let you know! He loves a good cheek scratch, but booty rubs? Not really his thing.

Salvador would do best in a home without young children. He does a good job giving signals when he's had enough attention and would like some space, but young children may not always recognize or respect those signals. He would thrive with someone who appreciates a cat with clear boundaries and is willing to listen to what he's communicating.

Salvador would also prefer to be the only cat in the home. If there are dogs, he may need some time and patience to settle in and become comfortable with them.

If you're looking for a confident, independent cat who will keep you entertained and let you know exactly what he wants, Salvador may be your guy.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
