Pookie is a handsome adult male cat who's looking for a loving home where he can finally relax and feel truly cared for. This sweet guy has had a rough time recently, as he came in with some pretty nasty mats in his fur, which we've carefully shaved off to help him feel more comfortable. While he may seem a bit grumpy at first (he's just been through a lot!), don't let that fool you-Pookie absolutely loves pets and will happily purr away when you give him a gentle scratch behind the ears.

Pookie will need a little extra TLC to fully trust again, but once he's comfortable, you'll have a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be loved. If you're looking for a cat with a little attitude and a lot of heart, Pookie could be the one for you!

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
