The Yakima Humane Society cares for thousands of animals each year, many of whom need time in a loving foster home before they are ready for adoption. Fostering a homeless pet is a rewarding experience-perfect for families or individuals who love animals but may not be able to commit full-time.
Foster Care Families make a real difference, helping animals thrive while preparing them for their forever homes. You can foster as much or as little as you like, and we especially need homes for underage kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs recovering from surgery or illness.
