Meet Joe! This 9-year-old Husky/Pinscher mix is back with us after being adopted as a puppy in 2016. While we're sad to see him return, we're hopeful that we can help him find a loving home once again.
Joe has had a tough journey-he weighs only 26 pounds, far under his healthy weight of 40 pounds, but with the right care, patience, and love, we know he can get back on track. Despite his past, Joe is an incredibly sweet boy who loves to cuddle and will happily curl up in your lap once he feels safe. He needs a home where he can learn to trust again and feel the unconditional love he deserves.
If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs a second chance, Joe could be the perfect fit. He's ready for a family who will help him heal and shower him with the affection he's missed.
Come meet Joe today and give him the fresh start he's been waiting for.
Come meet Joe today, he is currently available for adoption at the Ellensburg Animal Shelter.
If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org and a staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is lifesaving. Adopt Don't Shop.
