Meet Buttercup, an almost 12 year old Pug/Beagle mix weighing 16 pounds.

Buttercup's story is a bittersweet one. She was adopted from us back in 2016 and spent years in a home, but sadly was recently found in a car with her owner who had passed away, along with another dog and a cat. Now in her senior years, she's back with us, hoping to find a loving home once again.

When Buttercup arrived, she was covered in fleas, but she's since been treated and is feeling much better. As a senior girl, she does need a little extra TLC-she'll require a dental and likely ongoing teeth cleanings, along with the typical care that comes with her golden years.

Buttercup is incredibly friendly with a gentle, loving temperament. She's also quite the talker and will happily "chat" with you to let you know what's on her mind. With her sweet personality and adorable "little old lady" charm, she has a way of stealing hearts instantly.

Buttercup deserves a soft place to land and a family to love her through her senior years. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate companion, she's ready to meet you.
