Meet Clever II, an nine and a half year old Chocolate Lab mix weighing 93 pounds.

Clever is a friendly, well-mannered gentleman who deserves nothing but the best. He has aged gracefully like fine wine, sporting a handsome sugar muzzle, but don't let his age fool you-he still has plenty of life to live and love to give.

Clever walks well on leash, keeps a clean kennel, and knows "sit." He is starting to slow down a little with age, but he is still happy to head out for a leisurely walk and enjoy the world around him. He may be a bit drooly, but we think that just adds to his charm.

Lab enthusiasts will especially appreciate this classic guy. Clever is the kind of dog who has perfected the art of being a good boy, and he would love to spend his golden years with someone who will appreciate his gentle, loyal nature.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters may be required to have proof of landlord approval.
