Meet Mac, an eight and a half year old Staffie/Pit mix weighing 63 pounds.

Mac is a sweet senior gentleman with a whole lot of love still left to give. He was found running loose with another dog and is now safe with us, ready to find a calm, caring home to spend his golden years.

Friendly and happy, Mac has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. He enjoys his leash walks and seems to take real pleasure in simply being outside and spending time with people. He may be a senior, but he still has plenty of pep in his step and lots of life left to enjoy.

Mac has a distinctive one-eyebrow marking that gives him a very expressive, endearing look-once you meet him, it's hard to forget his face. He is currently dealing with some skin issues that may be related to allergies or past diet, and he would benefit from a home willing to continue supporting his comfort and care.

Despite whatever he's been through, Mac remains a sweet, social boy who leans into kindness and companionship. He's looking for a family who will appreciate his gentle spirit and give him the love and stability he deserves.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
