Wanda is a gorgeous 4-year-old Hound/Retriever mix with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. She's a happy girl who loves going for walks, sniffing out new adventures, and then settling in for some well-deserved relaxation. While with us Wanda started limping, staff became concerned and she was seen by a vet. Thankfully we were able to make sure she got the TPLO surgery she needed and she is now recovering well. A little bump in the road on her way to her forever home that we were able to smooth over quickly!

Wanda has that perfect mix of playful energy and calm companionship-she'll happily join you on hikes or keep you company on the couch. She's eager to please and would thrive with a family who can give her love, consistency, and plenty of attention. If you're looking for a loyal, sweet-natured friend to share your days with, Wanda may be the one for you.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
