Wanda is a gorgeous 4-year-old Hound/Ridgeback mix with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. She's a gentle girl who loves going for walks, sniffing out new adventures, and then settling in for some well-deserved relaxation.

Wanda has that perfect mix of playful energy and calm companionship-she'll happily join you on hikes or keep you company on the couch. She's eager to please and would thrive with a family who can give her love, consistency, and plenty of attention.

Please do your breed research before applying to adopt. Hound mixes are a very unique dogs with unique requirements. Hound breeds were (and still are) used for hunting. They often have their noses to the ground and can follow scents for miles; without proper containment this can lead to them getting lost very easily. Hounds are very musical and can get noisy at times; they are also often energetic and benefit from active lifestyles. While every dog is different, and no two dogs are alike, doing breed research can help you when make a decision on your next family member.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
