Squints and been hanging out with Fluffy in the off leash area and doing great! They love to run and play together but also are happy to just hang out in the shade.
Meet Squints, a 2.5-year-old male Husky mix. Squints is a special boy. His ears are very unique. Squints has features that are more narrow and his ears are almost touching. This makes his eyes appear to be squinting, hence how he got his name. Squints still has very much a puppy personality! He loves when he gets to go out for walks and becomes quite playful. Once he gets his initial energy out of him, he does very well out on his walks. He does well with other dogs but needs to be in a household with NO cats. He went over to Vet Tech and the students adored him, they said he is more than willing to give all the kisses. This pet is available for adoption on 9/9/22. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
