Meet Gordo, a 2-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Gordo is such a large handsome boy. He only weights in at 66 pounds but seems to be much larger as he has a tall build. Gordo has been in a home and did get some training at some point as he already knows the commands for sit and shake. He was impounded by animal control and there were some abuse allegations so it is important to understand that Gordo has not always had an easy life. He loves treats but my have had a period of food deprivation in his past as he is quick to take snacks and eats very fast. He should not be fed by any children as he isn't yet as careful as he should be. Gordo has a friendly personality and likes attention. With his great start to manners he will be a wonderful companion with just a few more lessons. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
