Meet Rory, a four and a half year old Siberian Husky mix weighing 65 pounds.

Rory is a beautiful girl with striking mismatched eyes and an even more beautiful personality. She came to us after her owner was sadly forced to surrender her due to becoming homeless. Through no fault of her own, Rory is now looking for a new family to call her own.

Past her puppy phase, Rory has already mastered many of the basics that make the transition into a new home much easier. She knows the commands "sit" and "down," walks nicely on a leash, and was both crate trained and potty trained in her previous home. She's ready to settle in and become a wonderful companion.

Rory has experience living with birds, cats, other dogs, and children, giving her a well-rounded background. As with any new pet, slow introductions to resident animals and family members are always recommended to help everyone adjust successfully.

Rory is looking for a loving home that will give her the stability and companionship she deserves. In return, she'll offer loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of happy memories. If you're searching for a dog who's already left the puppy antics behind and is ready to be your faithful best friend, Rory may be the perfect match.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit.
