Meet Kane, a 8-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier.
When Kane arrived at the adoption center he was looking and feeling very down. Kane had visible injuries, scabs and a limp. Kane was a little timid when he first was brought in but is now very receptive to attention. He walks well on his leash and let staff care for his injuries and sores. This sweet boy is really a great dog. When out for his repictures he looked some much better and was friendly and fun. Kane loved playing with the photographer and even got the zoomies. He enjoys treats and is a well behaved boy and sits right down for them. As it is very possible that he survived some type of attack, he may need a home with no other dogs. This is not required but a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home will be mandatory prior to adoption. Kane has seen some cats while at the adoption center and was not reactive towards them but his history with felines is unknown. If you have room in your heart and home with this gentle boy please contact the adoption center today. This pet is available for adoption on 1/28/23 and is located at the Yakima Humane Society. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
