Meet Marcus, a 1.5-year-old male Pit/Husky mix.
Marcus is the funnest boy. He has a bit of a dorky personality but in the absolutely best way. He is a big boy at 73 pounds but already knows to sit and is working on down. Marcus was found near the river after being abandoned their by his owner because they were moving. Marcus wanted to play with the finders dogs but is very large so it is important that he meet all K9's in a home prior to adoption. He is young still and gets excited when he sees cats. He could learn to leave with a feline but at this time it is likely that he would want to chase them. Marcus would make the perfect companion for someone with an active outdoorsy lifestyle, a family that loves to play together, or make a outgoing canine buddy. Marcus can look intimidating and his pictures make him look like he is serious but the true this is that he doesn't know how to be serious about anything. This pet is available for adoption on 4/10/23 and is located at the Yakima Humane Society. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
