Meet Molia, a 7-month-old female German Shepherd pup. Molina arrived at the shelter with a badly broken leg that required amputation. Thanks to the care and support of our clinic and an amazing foster home this girl is all healed up and ready for her new home! Molina has it all- beauty, brains and a killer personality! She doesn't let the fact that she is missing one leg slow her down as all! Please do your breed research before adopting Molina, German Shepherds are great family dogs, but she will need someone who understands they require a lot of stimulation to keep them happy and well behaved in a home.
Please remember that Molia is still a puppy, and the behavior comes with. She will need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
