Meet Samson, a 2.5-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier.
Samson is very uninhibited. He needs some leash training as he is very strong and excited to experience everything. Samson needs a handler will large dog experience that can remind handle Samson as her learns to control his excitement. Samson really loves to get out for walks in the park and would enjoy having a home with a fenced in yard to play in. This pet is available for adoption on 6/22/23 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 24-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
