Meet Betty, a 1-year-old female Boxer mix.
Betty is very typical of her breed. She has a lot of energy and gets excited to get outside. Betty is working on leash training but gets excited and vocal when she sees other dogs on her walks, so a bit more socializing would be recommended to help her stay calm when she sees all of those "friends". She loves to get out in the play yard and go for walks in the park. While Betty has been very social at the adoption center it is important that she meet all K9's in a home prior to adoption to make sure they can match her personality and energy level. This athletic goober will make someone a fantastic companion especially if they are Boxer lovers. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
