Stalker Alert!
The word Stalker means to harasses someone with unwanted and obsessive attention but Nanook doesn't know that. He just thinks that once he bonds to you that you should be open to him being in your personal space at all times. This is a dog that is loyal to his people and wants to be with them. If you give him the guidance and structure he needs, you'll be rewarded with one of the finest companions in the world. Nanook is strong and true with a loving heart but due to his past as a breeder dog; his adopter must be able to provide him with leadership that he can trust and respect. Nanook needs a home with no children and Rottweiler experience is preferred. *update* Nanook was adopted but sadly returned as he was a little too active for the 70 year old adopter. Nanook has been pretty chill in the adoption managers office but he does like to play with toys in the yard. Once settled it is likely that Nanook becomes more active and will need a forever home that is able to be active with him. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
