Meet Quinley a 2-month-old female Pit Bull mix.
Quinley arrived at the adoption center from the city of Granger with 3 other puppies but they don't seem to be related or the same ages. They are all very social pups and love to get snuggles. They each seem to be the happiest when they can be with a person and will do best in homes that can make them part of the family. Because true breeds are unknown, the adult size of any of these puppies is a mystery. YHS staff think that Quinley will be a medium sized dog. Please remember that Quinley is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be. This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
