Meet Canelo, a 2-year-old male Lab mix.
Canelo was brought in by Yakima animal control for wandering the streets. He was a little unsure but with just a day at the shelter he is now going out for walks and loving snuggles. Canelo appears to be well cared for but no owner has been found. We would like to see Canelo find a loving home where he can get those cuddles he needs and also have a nice safe yard to play in. Canelo is a large sweetheart weighting in at 88 pounds. This pet is available for adoption on 11/17/23 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop. |
