Meet King, an 11 month old German Shepherd mix weighing in around 50 pounds.
King might be the cutes dork you have ever met. He has those puppy dog eyes that stare into your souls and make you want to give him all the treats, pair those eyes with some floppy ears and you have a heart breaker! King is a very friendly boy who walks well on leash and will sit for you. He loves treats and playing with toys. I guess what we are saying is that King is the complete package!
If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week!
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free puppies or puppies for sale, check your local Shelters for available dogs and puppies that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don't Shop.
