Meet Randy, a 5-year-old male Rottweiler/Pitbull mix.
Randy came in to us pretty under weight, but 15 pounds later he is looking much better. He has played in the play yard with other dogs and got along great with another resident named Kenny. He is a friendly boy who plays fetch and is working on basic commands. Despite his size Randy walks pretty good on his leash and doesn't yank you around, at 75 pound he could throw his weight around if he wanted to. He tends to bond strong and is a protective breed so please do your research prior to applying to adopt this big sweetheart. Randy is looking for a home that has lots of love and food!

A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
