Meet Tucker, a two year old Shepherd/Husky mix who weighs a little over fifty pounds.
Although Tucker's breed mix might make people think he would be a high energy dog, Tucker is actually quiet mellow and a joy to be around. He walks well on the leash and is a real gentleman overall. This friendly boy enjoys sniffing around trees and has an independent side to him that is perfect for people that don't want a dog that is attached to their hip 24/7. Tucker really enjoys going on his walks and is just a chill dude.
If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
