Meet Minnie, a three year old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix.
Minnie was brought in as a stray and is a sweetheart of a girl. She can be a little timid/shy at first but the minute you bring out any toy with a squeaker it is GAME ON. Minnie walks great on a leash and we absolutely adore her wonky ears. If you have any other dogs in your home we always recommend a meet and greet prior to adoption.
If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week!
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free puppies or puppies for sale, check your local Shelters for available dogs and puppies that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don't Shop.
