Jethro is a spirited 7-month-old Heeler/German Shepherd mix who's looking for his forever home.

He's an incredibly sweet, energetic, and intelligent pup who is eager to learn and explore the world around him. Despite his tough start in life, having been abandoned by his previous owner, Jethro is full of love and ready to trust again.

Jethro's playful nature and curious personality make him a great companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures, daily walks, or even some fun fetch sessions. He's still in his "puppy phase," so he's working on his manners and loves any opportunity to bond with his humans. He's quick to learn, so with a little patience and training, he'll thrive in a structured environment.

This brave little guy is good with other dogs and enjoys the company of new friends. While he may take a little time to warm up to new people due to his past, once he trusts you, Jethro is the loyal and loving companion you've been looking for.

Our adoption fee includes a lovable companion, spay/neuter, vaccinations and intestinal worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets over 3-4 months of age) and a microchip with nationwide registration. Your adoption fee helps support YHS and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
