Meet Hugo, a two-year-old Pit/Husky weighing almost 70 pounds.

Hugo was found running as a stray, his finder wasn't able to keep up but did tell us he did great with other dogs, but his personal dogs were not appreciative of him trying to play with them as they were much smaller than him. He does great in the car as well and is working on his crate training. Hugo is a happy and outgoing boy, just look at that smile! He is very treat motivated and knows the command "sit", Hugo just wants to make his person happy. He is working on his leash training but with a couple minutes outside and a few corrections Hugo picks up the routine pretty fast. He is just looking for someone to polish him up and show the world the amazing dog he can be!

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
