Meet Hugo, a two-year-old Pit/Husky weighing almost 70 pounds.

Hugo was found running as a stray, his finder wasn't able to keep up but did tell us he did great with other dogs, but his personal dogs were not appreciative of him trying to play with them as they were much smaller than him. He does great in the car as well and is working on his crate training as he does get a little anxious when left alone. The finder said he was pretty chill with him but since coming to us he is understandably a bit unsure and skittish; the shelter life can be very overwhelming. He is working on his leash training but does check in with you for reassurance. He is just looking for someone to take him under their wing and show him the ropes.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
