Meet Canelo, a one-year-old Australian Kelpie/Shepherd mix weighing around 50 pounds.

Canelo is a friendly boy who is a great medium size. He is at a fantastic age to start his training and will be like a sponge soaking up all of the info. He gets very excited when he sees dogs on leash, but seems like he just really wants to play with them. His finder said he rode well in their car but recommended he goes to a home with no cats as he likes to chase them. This enthusiastic boy can't wait to go on walks and would love to go on hikes if that is something you are interested in, if not he is cool with running around a backyard instead. Canelo is going to be so much fun for someone.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
