Meet Mommas, a three year old Chihuahua mix weighing eleven pounds.

Mommas was found as a stray with her three puppies who were still too young to be separated from her, but now they are weaned and Mommas is ready to find her forever and stop being a momma! Mommas' foster says she loves to go outside and run with their other dogs and gives great kisses when she snuggles you. Her ideal home has room to run and play with plenty of time to snuggly. Mommas was in a foster home with kids and did well with them but is fearful of new people so she needs to be given a chance to warm up. Once she knows you she is dedicated and loving. Mommas isn't a fan of the vacuum or loud noises and is a great little alarm dog. At night she has slept in a big open kennel without any issues. Mommas is a good girl looking for a fantastic home!

Our adoption fee includes a lovable companion, spay/neuter, vaccinations and intestinal worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets over 3-4 months of age) and a microchip with nationwide registration. Your adoption fee helps support YHS and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
