Meet Raiden, an eight month old Husky/Pit mix weighing around 65 pounds.

Raiden is a sweet boy who was brought in with his brother Sampson from a house that had over 50 dogs. Animal Control has been working diligently to take the animals from the house this past year as room has opened up at our facility and others across the state. Raiden is a very sweet, fun-loving guy who walks well on his leash with a bit of correction. He is a stocky boy with big paws and a dense coat of fur. This friendly goober is easy-going and has a happy nature. He will make a fantastic dog for someone.

Our adoption fee includes a lovable companion, spay/neuter, vaccinations and intestinal worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets over 3-4 months of age) and a microchip with nationwide registration. Your adoption fee helps support YHS and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
