Meet Diamond, a ten month old Belgian Malinois/Doberman Mix weighing a little over 50 pounds.

Diamond is a beautiful girl who was owner surrendered to animal control when her owner was unable to continue to care for her. She is a sensitive girl who was pretty unsure when she first came to us and experienced the loud kennels for the first time. Staff was quickly able to win her over by crouching down and speaking to her softly, she would then belly crawl over to them to get love and try and work her way into their laps. Diamond is still coming out of her shell but it is clear she will bond quickly and like her breed mix suggestions she has a good amount of energy. She likes to be near her people and will make a fantastic dog some someone who is looking for a dog eager to please.

Our adoption fee includes a lovable companion, spay/neuter, vaccinations and intestinal worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets over 3-4 months of age) and a microchip with nationwide registration. Your adoption fee helps support YHS and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
