Meet Melissa, a five year old Pitbull/Chihuahua weighing 33 pounds.

Melissa is a sweet girl who was found with Chris and Peter as a group of strays. We think they are all related and that Melissa may be their Momma but we can't know this for sure. They are in separate kennels and are doing fine separated so they will do great in separate homes and it will probably be good for their confidence to be split up. Melissa is the most outgoing and human-oriented of the three. She will try and crawl up into your lap and wants to be a Velcro dog, right next to you or on you. If you are looking for a dog that doesn't believe in person space then Melissa is the cutie for you! We are working on Melissa's leash training as it is clear she has never been on a leash. She just needs a home with some TLC and she will be a loyal companion for the rest of her life.

Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
