Meet Texas, a two year old Pit mix weighing 64 pounds.

Texas came to us as a stray, but it didn't take long for his bright personality to shine through. Now that he's settled in, this happy-go-lucky guy is showing us just how sweet, smart, and fun-loving he really is! Texas is very friendly and walks nicely on leash with minimal correction. He's treat motivated and already knows commands like "sit" and "down"-a smart boy with a willingness to learn even more! And when he gets excited? Get ready for the zoomies-Texas-style! His playful energy and goofy charm are guaranteed to make you smile. If you're looking for a cheerful companion who's equal parts snuggly and silly, Texas could be your perfect match. He's ready to trade in his days on the streets for a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and adventures with you.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
