Meet Scout, a three year old German Shepherd mix weighing 78 pounds.

Scout was found running around with Luffie, they both had collars on that had their name and some information about them on it (such as Scout not liking Old Roy dog food) but no owner contact info which was pretty sad. We aren't sure why they would detail all that information but not include their phone numbers. We actually recognized Scout from a rehoming website so some of our information on him comes from there, so far no owners have come forward for him. According to the rehoming website Scout has been around cats, dogs, chickens and older kids. He likes to run and fetch. Scout is a curious boy and doing well with all of the changes but is understandably unsure. He walks well on his leash and is treat motivated, knowing the command sit. We are determined to find him the forever home that he deserves.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
