This 5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix may be big in size, but he's still a baby at heart. Denver is a sweet and slightly timid pup who's slowly learning that the world isn't so scary - especially when he's snuggled up in your lap. He is already doing happy circles!

Despite his future size, Denver is a total lap dog in spirit. He finds comfort in gentle affection and calm surroundings, and he's looking for a patient, loving home where he can build confidence at his own pace. With the right support, Denver is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion.

Your adoption fee helps support YHS and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
