Meet Tom, a one and a half year old Husky/Shepherd mix weighing around 60 pounds.

This handsome Husky mix has a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. Tom is a sweet, sensitive boy who can be a little shy at first and unsure in new situations - but with some patience and TLC, he's slowly but surely coming out of his shell. Tom walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys the little things (like yummy treats - which he takes ever so gently). He just needs a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and build confidence at his own pace. If you have a soft spot for the shy-but-sweet type and want to help a truly good boy feel loved and secure, Tom could be your perfect match. NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
