Meet Princess, a three year old Blue Heeler mix weighing around 40 pounds.

Princess has spent her life putting others first-she came to us after being owner surrendered for "needing too much attention" and arrived with a litter of puppies in tow. Now that her momma duties are done, it's finally her turn to be the one cared for.

This shy, sensitive girl needs a gentle, quiet home where she can decompress and learn that the world is a safe place. Everything is new and a little overwhelming for her right now, so patience, time, and lots of TLC will go a long way. Because of her timid nature, a home without young children is best.

Princess is ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter-one filled with love, comfort, and the kind of attention she truly deserves.

Your adoption fee includes:
A lovable new companion, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations + deworming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets 3-4 months and older), and microchip with nationwide registration.
Every adoption helps support YHS and our community spay/neuter programs to end pet overpopulation.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
