Penny is a graceful and intelligent German Shepherd with a sweet, nurturing spirit. She's gentle, affectionate, and has been an amazing mom to her pups-but now it's her turn to be spoiled and loved. Penny loves her people deeply and is happiest when she's close by, whether it's joining you for a walk or curling up nearby for a nap.
Like most German Shepherds, Penny will do best with consistent guidance and someone who understands the needs of this brilliant breed. She's a beautiful blend of soft and strong, and she's more than ready to find her forever home.

Please do your breed research before applying to adopt. German Shepherds and GSD mixes are a special breed of dog with special requirements. These dogs were bred to have a job, and without the right activity level/purpose they won't flourish which can lead to issues down the road. These dogs are incredibly smart and need to be challenged both physically and mentally to really be happy. The German Shepherd is known to be vocal when excited and can be a bit mouthy at times, proper training is key in helping your German Shepherd adjust to their new life. German Shepherds are a fun, athletic breed that many have fallen in love with over the years, but please keep their breed needs in mind when considering adding one to your household.

NOTE: All pre-adoption questionnaires are subject to approval. Adopters must be 18 years of age. Entire families may be required to visit, including resident dog(s). 48-hour adoption holds may be placed on any animal (for approved adopters) with a non-refundable deposit. All dogs must leave with a collar and leash. All cats must leave in a pet carrier for their safety. Renters are required to have proof of landlord approval.
